Standard Terms & Conditions
Every customer who accepts a booking with Macarthur Buslines Limited (“MBL”) agrees to the following terms and conditions.
Payment
To hold your booking, MBL requires that a deposit of 50% of the quoted amount be paid within 7 days of the invoice issue date. The remaining balance is to be paid prior to the date of travel. Where a booking is made with less than 7 days to the date of travel full payment is required.
MBL may cancel any booking where payment has not been received by the date of travel.
Damage to Vehicle
The costs of any damage caused to the vehicle by members of your charter group shall be charged to the person or company responsible for the booking. The driver of any MBL vehicle will have sole discretion to stop the vehicle and disembark any passengers considered to be engaging in unruly or unacceptable behaviour.
Alcohol
Sorry we do not permit the consumption of alcohol on board our vehicles.
Liability
MBL accepts no liability for damage done to any goods carried in or on our vehicles.
MBL accepts no liability for any loss or damage caused by any mechanical failure of a vehicle used on your booking. In circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the agreed and purchased travel.
Cancellation
A booking may be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the intended date of travel. MBL will retain the deposit that has been made (50% of booking) in such circumstances, and will refund any balance where full payment has been made.
Quotation
Your quote is supplied on the basis of the information provided. Any changes made to the travel arrangements while on the charter, which increase waiting or travelling times, will incur further charges at MBL’s prescribed hourly rate.
